iCare Protection Plan

Traditionally engineering services are over priced maintenance contracts, paid annually in advance whether you needed an engineer or not.

iCarePP subscription gives access to a service that’s equal in terms of response yet at a fraction of the cost. Administered by Domestic & General Services Ltd. iCarePP includes all labour charges, with any necessary parts as required. What’s more if your broken unit can’t be repaired then it’s replaced with a new unit. Whether the machine is in, or out of manufacturers warranty, so long as it’s under 5 years old when your iCarePP is initiated, then your iCarePP provides the ultimate in peace of mind protection.

The iCarePP Rapid Engineering service provides a turnaround to rival any Apple Authorised Service Provider anywhere in the country.

Example: Monday morning your machine fails mechanically, your iCarePP aims to have an engineer at your premises next day (terms & conditions apply).

The alternative, directly from Apple, is AppleCare which provides for one Apple Mac and nothing else; and if you live further than 50 miles from the specified repair centre then you have to transport your machine to them. iCarePP provides umbrella protection for your complete workstation (CPU, Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor, Scanner and Printer).

iCare do not provide loan machinery, taking the view that the inconvenience of installing software and in some instances, re-created work already started, outweighs the supposed continuity advantage. It is our Rapid Engineering goal that the downtime is no more than two days maximum, keeping disruption to an absolute minimum and controlling the hidden expenses.
